Two monsoons, more possibilities

Sri Lanka does not have one single dry season. When rain reaches one side of the island, another region can be bright and inviting.

December to April

This is the classic window for Colombo, Galle, Mirissa and the southwest. Hill-country evenings can feel cool, especially around Nuwara Eliya.

May to September

Look east toward Trincomalee, Pasikuda and Arugam Bay. The Cultural Triangle is often a natural partner for an east-coast route.

October and November

Inter-monsoon weather can be changeable island-wide. Build flexibility into beach days and check local forecasts.
